The 2026 Backlash, also promoted as Backlash: Tampa, was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event produced by WWE and took place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida.

Five matches were contested at the event. In the main event, Roman Reigns faced Jacob Fatu for the Raw's World Heavyweight Championship. In other prominent matches, Iyo Sky fought Asuka, Trick Williams faced Sami Zayn to for the SmackDown's WWE United States Championship, and in the opening bout, Bron Breakker squared off against Seth Rollins.
